Xiang Yong has always been easy to overlook—a timid office worker who fades into beige cubicles and forgotten coffee orders. After being laid off, he flees Taipei for his sleepy hometown, where he makes a desperate, half-joking wish upon a daytime star: "I wish no one would recognize me."
