The Heir (2026)

In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, a single tribute ink case shatters the centuries-old Huizhou ink industry. The Li family's legendary ink-making house falls from grace. The Luo family rises. Then falls. Generations pass. Li Zhen, the overlooked youngest daughter of the Li clan's eighth room, has nothing left but poverty and pride. So she picks up the ink stick and begins again. With raw talent and relentless work, she becomes an unlikely dark horse. Alongside her stands Luo Wen Qian, the second son of the rival Luo family, who schemes to restore his own legacy. Together—sometimes allies, sometimes rivals—they battle the upstart Tian Mo family and revive Li Mo to its former glory. Then the sea ban lifts. Foreign ink threatens everything. The Heir (2026) is a Chinese historical business romance about legacy, craftsmanship, and a woman who refuses to let her family's art die. Gorgeous, intelligent, and deeply satisfying. The best ink in the world? She's about to make it.
