Doctor on the Edge (2026) follows Do Ji Ui, a plastic surgeon fulfilling his mandatory public health service after being assigned to Pyeondong-do, a remote island avoided by nearly everyone. Expecting a routine year of duty, he instead finds himself surrounded by unsettling signs from the moment he arrives. Isolated from the mainland and far from the privileged life he once knew, Ji Ui must endure mounting pressure and uncertainty while trying to survive in an environment that feels increasingly hostile. As the challenges of the island begin to test his resolve, he is forced to confront both external threats and his own limits.
