Duty First Kiss Later

Takoi is a kindhearted 38-year-old detective working in the Criminal Affairs Division of the peaceful, semi-rural Yamanomichi Police Station. As a non-career officer, he is well-liked by the local community, but his easygoing nature clashes constantly with Shiono, a handsome young officer from the Community Safety Division who is rapidly advancing through the career track. Their daily arguments become even harder to escape when they discover they are neighbors in the police dormitory. Just as their rivalry seems impossible to change, Takoi is unexpectedly set up on a marriage meeting, setting off a surprising shift in the relationship between the two mismatched colleagues.
